“I have a court order, but the other party has failed to follow it. What can I do?”
- An option would be to file a Petition to Enforce with the Court. A Petition to Enforce may be used to make the other party obey a court order which requires the other party to pay child support, pay spousal maintenance, have medical insurance coverage, or reimburse you for medical, dental or vision care expenses that are not covered by insurance.
“I currently have a court order, but the terms no longer apply, or I desire new terms that better fit my current situation. What can I do?”
- An option would be to file a Petition to Modify with the Court. A Petition to Modify may be used to request that the Court reexamine your situation and determine if new terms would be better fit your new situation. Legal decision making, parenting time, and child support are among the things that can be requested for modification.
